MISSION STATEMENT

The World Mission Fellowship (WMF) exists to:

  • supplement the role of the Overseas Personnel Office, by profiling personnel and their current roles in overseas mission;
  • provide spiritual and moral support to overseas personnel before, during and after their overseas service;
  • promote awareness of Salvation Army service opportunities;
  • encourage appropriate personnel who have applied for overseas mission;
  • facilitate the raising of financial support.

Vision Statement

The World Mission Fellowship (WMF) seeks to be a GIVING, 
RECRUITING, INFORMING and PRAYING (GRIP) fellowship, offering prayerful and practical support to Australian personnel who are serving internationally in leadership and ministry appointments, often in frontline mission roles.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Membership of the World Mission Fellowship is open to all Salvationists, Adherents and Friends of The Salvation Army who are interested in supporting world mission and those who are appointed to international mission service.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION: $20.00 per person

Annual subscriptions:

  • cover the costs of monthly newsletter production and distribution;
  • give WMF members voting rights at the Annual General meeting;
  • enable the fellowship to provide regular monetary support to personnel on overseas service and also according to specific need.
