Mandatory Training for Volunteers

As an organisation, The Salvation Army is committed to the safety and well-being of all personnel, including our volunteers. The Salvation Army is responsible for ensuring everyone is clearly instructed and properly trained on how to do their work safely.

Our ‘Building Healthy Communities’ mandatory training is our primary way of consistently achieving this across the Territory. Our induction and mandatory training will help promote awareness, responsibility, accountability and assist all personnel to avoid workplace issues. We each have a duty of care responsibility in relation to health and safety, and are all expected to comply.

Here is the list of mandatory training courses which are all in short and easy to digest videos. You can access the full training suites by scrolling down to each individual topic.
