Work For The Dole

Work for the Dole (WfD) is part of the Australian Government’s jobactive initiative. It is designed to help job seekers gain skills, experience and confidence in order to move as quickly as possible from unemployment or welfare into paid work. Employment Plus (EPlus) is part of The Salvation Army (TSA). It is the second largest jobactive Provider and the biggest not-for-profit (NFP) organisation.

Effective from January 1, 2018, WfD introduced changes to streamline and refocus its administrative, placement, and activity processes for jobactive Providers and Host Organisations. New changes in requirement hours for participants will also be introduced from September 20, 2018.

Please familiarise yourself with the updates before planning a WfD activity.
