Pursuing mission on 2 July

Melbourne Project 614, at 69 Bourke Street, Melbourne, is hosting a mission extravaganza on The Salvation Army’s Founders’ Day, from 3 p.m. on Sunday, 2 July
Activities include a 4.30 p.m. mission information forum, a 5 p.m. cafe concert featuring the Salvo Big Band, and a 6 p.m. public lecture on Salvation Army mission and theology by broadcaster John Cleary. The day marks the 152nd anniversary of The Salvation Army.
Attendees will hear from Commissioners Floyd and Tracey Tidd, celebrate a book launch by Majors Lyn Edge and Greg Morgan, and a CD launch by the Salvo Big Band.
